They just keep ringing, obviously a con job. Check out what other people have said too.

Got a call from 01915740123, supposedly from Sunderland but it was pretty clear it was a woman at some call centre in India or Pakistan. She claimed to be from Curry’s PC World - seriously? I gave her a piece of my mind, nice and firmly, and she just hung up right away once she realised I wasn’t falling for it. Typical!

I picked up and said hello, but I just heard loads of noise like a really busy office in the background. Then they just suddenly disconnected without a word. It felt a bit dodgy, especially since I’ve no clue who’d be ringing me from Sunderland.

The line was really crackly and hard to make out what the recorded voice was saying. I decided to just hang up since I suspected it was probably some kind of scam.

Got a call from someone with a strong accent claiming to be O2, but when I asked some questions they just hung up. Earlier, the same number called and the line went dead as soon as I picked up. Definitely a scam.

Was expecting a phone call from my doctor and picked up, but the line went dead almost straight away. I wasn’t sure if it was meant for me so called back, only to get some automated voice speaking French or something. Didn’t bother after that and just blocked the number.

I received a call from someone with a strong accent claiming to represent O2. When I requested some sort of verification, they abruptly hung up. They had also called me before, and hung up as soon as I picked up. Definitely a dodgy call!

I got a missed call from this number, so I rang it back, only to get a message all in French. I’m pretty sure it was an international call and now I’m worried I might have been charged for calling France.

This number, and a few that look almost the same, have been ringing me pretty much every day. Even though I keep blocking them, they manage to call from numbers that are just a bit different each time. I haven't answered any of the calls because I'm pretty sure it's just some spam.

Got a call from a lady claiming to be from EE, trying to sell me a contract. I told her I’m not even an EE customer, asked why they were ringing me. She kept going on about a 40% discount on a new phone and said they were contacting people from all networks. I told them to remove me from their calls and then she just ended the call. Quite annoying.

Received a ring from 0191 5740123 today. The caller sounded like a lady from India, but her speech was quite unclear. I picked up since it was a local number, but when I inquired about her name, she abruptly hung up. Clearly a dodgy call, if you ask me!

I meant to call my mate but ended up pressing a number just one digit off by mistake. When I rang, I heard a French message, so I assumed he was overseas and quickly ended the call. Only later did I work out I'd dialled the wrong number.

Got a call from someone saying they were with O2 and had a special offer. The voice had a strong American accent but felt kinda robotic, like it was a computer talking.

Some bloke rang pretending to be from O2, asking if I wanted a discount. I told him I wasn’t actually with O2, so he asked who my provider was. He said he’d check if they could sort a deal with them, then quickly switched to claiming he was with O2 and asked again if I wanted the discount. Then he wanted to know the exact amount I paid on my last bill. At that point, I just hung up ‘cause it was clear to me it was a total scam. Also, the caller was an Indian guy, but with a super American name, and he kept trying so hard not to let his accent slip.

They said they were from O2 and my phone company, which isn’t true. I struggled to hear them because of my hearing issues, and they just cut me off. That made me even more sure they weren’t really O2. Definitely not very considerate of people with disabilities.

Answered a call and got nothing, no one talking on the other side. Looked it up here and seems like it might be one of those scams trying to get you to ring back and end up with a big bill. Been getting calls all week from numbers starting with Swansea's code, tried blocking them but keeps coming from new ones. Feels like a proper scam to me.

Got a call on Saturday around 3 in the arvo but they didn’t bother leaving any message. I’m based up in Northern Ireland. Reading through other comments, looks like this could be some sort of scam. Then the next day, a different call popped up, this time from a Swansea number, still no message left. From what others have said, it seems like they’re pretending to be from Vodafone to trick people. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.
