Got a call from 01915740123, supposedly from Sunderland but it was pretty clear it was a woman at some call centre in India or Pakistan. She claimed to be from Curry’s PC World - seriously? I gave her a piece of my mind, nice and firmly, and she just hung up right away once she realised I wasn’t falling for it. Typical!

Some bloke rang pretending to be from O2, asking if I wanted a discount. I told him I wasn’t actually with O2, so he asked who my provider was. He said he’d check if they could sort a deal with them, then quickly switched to claiming he was with O2 and asked again if I wanted the discount. Then he wanted to know the exact amount I paid on my last bill. At that point, I just hung up ‘cause it was clear to me it was a total scam. Also, the caller was an Indian guy, but with a super American name, and he kept trying so hard not to let his accent slip.

They said they were from O2 and my phone company, which isn’t true. I struggled to hear them because of my hearing issues, and they just cut me off. That made me even more sure they weren’t really O2. Definitely not very considerate of people with disabilities.

Got a call on Saturday around 3 in the arvo but they didn’t bother leaving any message. I’m based up in Northern Ireland. Reading through other comments, looks like this could be some sort of scam. Then the next day, a different call popped up, this time from a Swansea number, still no message left. From what others have said, it seems like they’re pretending to be from Vodafone to trick people. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.
