A recorded voice then said it was a business for windows and doors, and if I wanted to be taken off their list, press 1. I went ahead and pressed it, then it said I wouldn't be contacted again. But how did they identify me if my number was hidden? Pretty clear it’s telemarketers.

Totally a SCAM. Secure my Home called my mum about some drainage and groundwork stuff. My mum’s around 80 and got really confused. Thankfully I was there and she handed me the phone. They say they’re calling from Domestic & General Insurance, but the moment I ask who they really are or why they’re ringing me, they just cut off straight away. I’ve stopped even trying to add these to my blocked numbers because I’ve got so many on the list already and the calls just keep coming through since they fake the caller IDs. Now, I just waste their time as much as I can and it honestly feels pretty satisfying to give them a bit of grief.
