I got a couple of calls from this number, a lady talking about some investment opportunities to boost my lottery chances. She straight up asked for my credit card info but couldn’t give me a proper reason why she needed payment upfront before actually confirming anything. It seemed like she was fishing for my card details, so I just said no. Heads up to everyone - be careful with calls like this. Sometimes they’re just after your bank details, possibly for dodgy subscriptions or worse, and once they’ve got them, it’s a nightmare trying to stop them draining your account.

I was told I’d won some competition I entered and that I needed to pay £1 for postage for a prize pack. I told them I didn’t want the pack after all. Foolishly, I read out the long number on my card but made up some digits at the end on purpose. They then asked for the three numbers on the back, which I refused to give, and that’s when the caller got annoyed and hung up. I really should’ve looked up the number before answering 😡

I got a call supposedly from Puzzles Digest after entering a prize competition, but even tho I told them I’m not interested and want out, they keep phoning me every couple days. They asked for money to cover postage and my address, which seems dodgy to me. Definitely not legit - avoid them and put them on blocked. Seeing loads of mixed reviews here just makes me think they’re up to no good. Total scam if you ask me.

I received a rather peculiar phone call from Puzzle Digest informing me that I had been selected to participate in a Halloween Hamper Prize draw. The caller enthusiastically mentioned that for the bargain price of £1, I could secure a puzzle book and some lottery tickets. She insisted that I wouldn't have to share my bank account details or sort code, just the long number printed on my card. When I mentioned that I was at work and didn't have my card with me, she cheerfully offered to wait while I fetched it! At that, I decided it was best to terminate the conversation.

I received a rather strange call today, claiming that I had signed up for some sort of mother and baby contest-which, I assure you, I definitely have not. The caller went on to request my bank details. I mentioned that I was busy at work, and shockingly, I don’t have a bank card, nor do I possess a baby, or even know anyone with one. It left me quite baffled since I knew nothing about entering any competition. Then, just like that, the line went silent! Quite the peculiar encounter!
