Got a call from someone claiming to be BT Openreach, but it was a total scam. The bloke had a thick Far-East accent and his English was really hard to understand. He kept saying there was an issue with my line and wanted me to check the lights on my router. When I asked for more info or how long the problem would last, he just dodged the questions. After I tried to check if it sounded legit for a bit, he just ended the call out of nowhere...

Got a call from someone with a strong Far East accent claiming to be from BT Openreach. He wanted me to check the lights on my router but kept saying I wouldn’t get the tech stuff. My internet’s fine, running about 76mbps, so I started questioning him more and more. Eventually, he just put the phone down. Pretty sure it wasn’t legit - said he was from BT Openreach.

Got a call earlier from a guy called "Kevin" who sounded Asian. He said he was from BT but it didn’t ring true. He asked me to move my computer closer to the router, which seemed a bit dodgy. Feels like a scam to me. Maybe BT should look into blocking that number.

Someone just rang me saying they were from BT, trying to check my internet. They wanted to get into my computer remotely, which felt a bit off. When I questioned them, they got quite rude. Definitely sounded like a scam.

Been getting loads of annoying calls from this number, now I've gone ahead and blocked it.

Got three calls today, two of them showed as private numbers, and the last one was from this particular number. They said they were from BT Openreach and started chatting about my internet speed, sounded exactly like one of those call centres from India. I just ended the call straight away.

I got a call at 9:33 on Thursday morning. I picked up but there was no one on the line. After a few seconds, maybe about seven, they just hung up saying goodbye.
