Received a dodgy phone call supposedly from BT Openreach. The chap on the other end had a thick accent from the Far East and struggled with his English. He wanted me to check the lights on my router, claiming there was an issue with my line. When I pressed him for more details, he just danced around the question and refused to elaborate on the situation or how long it might have been going on. After a while of me probing for something that made sense, he abruptly ended the call. Total shambles!

I received a call from someone with a distinctly far-eastern accent, claiming to be from BT Openreach. They wanted me to look at the lights on my router, but I couldn’t grasp what they were on about. My broadband is functioning impeccably, around 76mbps, so I was a bit wary. I pressed them for further information, but when I did, they abruptly ended the call. So, was that really BT Openreach?

Today, I received a phone call from someone named "Kevin." He appeared to be of Asian descent but claimed to be from BT. This raised my suspicions, and it felt like a scam when he asked me to take my computer over to the router. I reckon it would be wise for BT to consider blocking this number.
