Received three consecutive calls from this number. There was a gentleman on the line claiming to be from some company-didn’t quite get the name-to chat about my bill concerning calls and line rental. I informed him that I didn't have any contract with their outfit and ended the call. He rang back shortly after, attempting to relay the same information. I firmly told him to cease his calls and remove my details from their records. I hung up again, only for him to ring me back immediately. I reiterated my request for him to stop contacting me and disconnected once more, swiftly.

Got a call from some marketing lot pushing BT broadband. Proper chirpy Geordie bloke who just cut me off when I started throwing some tricky questions his way. Was actually considering switching back to BT after my TalkTalk deal ends, but no chance now! Looks like they handle telesales for loads of firms. Clicked block straight away.

I stumbled upon some info on a different platform indicating this number belongs to EE. When I rang it back, I was greeted by a rather robotic service that mentioned, “You received a call from EE today and we’ll attempt to reach you again soon. If you wish to opt out of our calling list, simply press 1 now.” Naturally, I pressed 1. Then another automated voice chimed in, reassuring me, “Your number has now been removed, but please allow up to 24 hours for it to take effect.” Let’s hope that does the trick!
