Got a call from 0191 5013300 saying they were from Amazon, said there was an unauthorised purchase on my account and they offered to give me a refund. I looked at my Amazon account and there was nothing weird going on. I just ended the call, but they have phoned me back like 11 times already.

EDF kept ringing me asking for my partner who hasn’t lived here for over 8 months. Even when we tried to leave, they made it a nightmare - took them 4 months to let us switch as the new company couldn’t take over till EDF gave the go ahead, even though we had no valid contract. Their customer service was rubbish too. Proper bad company, avoid them if you can. Sometimes they just keep you waiting with no straight answers while you can hear them banging away on the keyboard. I honestly think companies like that should be banned from cold calls altogether.

This number is from EDF gas and electricity, they keep hassling you to switch to smart meters. The thing is, with those smart meters, you lose control and they just bill you automatically. I’m not interested in changing mine, even if they say it’s free.
