They just won't stop ringing me. I told them to remove me from their calling list, but then they called back from a number in Durham. I asked once more to be taken off, and then they switched to a Newcastle number. Also, the lads were pretty cheeky and rude about it all.

This number called me twice today claiming to be from PHONE SPOT, mentioning some kind of link to Carphone Warehouse. They said their system showed my mobile contract was nearly finished and tried to convince me to upgrade, promising I could save about £5 a month. I told them I wasn’t interested in an upgrade, just a simpler, cheaper tariff. Then the guy offered me a £21 per month rolling contract, with a free upgrade if I wanted to in the future. But as soon as I said I’d rather sort things out in person with my regular provider, he hung up pretty sharpish.
