I received a call from a chap claiming to be from some sort of "public debt service". Quite ironic, considering our own financial troubles! We clearly mentioned to him that we weren’t in need of assistance, which seemed to surprise him a bit. He then admitted he wouldn’t be much help to us at all. Interesting thing was, he spoke with a Welsh lilt, which I suppose is somewhat relevant. The number, an 01913, appeared to be registered in the north-east of England, possibly around Durham or Tyneside. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to inquire how he got hold of our number before he abruptly hung up. What a nuisance!
