Somebody with a foreign accent phoned me saying they were from Virgin Media about my internet. I told them I couldn’t hear properly. They rang me back from one of the many numbers they had, 01912018511. Still couldn’t catch what she was saying, and I could hear kids playing behind her. Then she asked if I was being cheeky with her. I told her no, but I knew she was trying to scam me. After that, she started calling me all sorts of names - a hoe, a s####, a bastard or something. Customer service clearly wasn’t from around here! I didn’t hold back and gave her a piece of my mind.
