They asked whether I had served in the military or worked in some sort of factory role. When I told them I hadn’t, they just ended the call straight away.

Just got a call from someone pretending to help people get compensation if they worked in certain industries without proper ear protection. They told me I’d been flagged by their system, but didn’t actually know what job I’d done, so they kept asking me for info. The caller spoke really clearly and was quite polite, so I reckon some folks might easily be tricked by this. Watch out, everyone!

Some guy called saying he’d had an accident and was trying to raise cash for surgery. I just hung up straight away. It’s obviously a load of rubbish, who actually phones strangers asking for money like that? Total scam if you ask me.
