So this morning at 8am on saturday, i got a call. I answered with a simple hello and after a bit of silence, a woman’s voice just said hello back then put the phone down. What’s the point of that?

Saturday morning at half past eight, some daft bloke called me - totally wrecked my lie-in! No chance to check the number first either. Ever since TalkTalk switched to these kinds of numbers, it’s gone downhill. Now if I don’t know the number, I just ignore it straight away.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent looking for a specific person, but they got the gender wrong. Bit awkward, haha!

I answered the phone but there was just silence on the other end. I kept saying ‘hello’ and then they suddenly cut the call.
