I picked up a call from this number since it shares my local area code. The caller claimed my internet service was at risk and urged me to press 1*. I was then connected to someone with a foreign accent who insisted I should be at my computer. When I requested his contact number because I suspected it was a scam, he rudely insulted me and abruptly ended the call! Strangely, when I tried calling back, I got a message saying the number wasn’t recognised. It’s crystal clear to me-this is a SCAM! Stay alert, everyone!
