I'm curious to know who this person is and what exactly their line of work entails.

This afternoon, we received a call from these folks, but unfortunately, we weren’t able to pick up. When we tried to return the call, we were greeted by a recorded message that said something along the lines of: ‘If you’re returning a call regarding a missed attempt, you’ve been contacted by FDS International, a market research agency, and it’s possible they might try reaching you again later on.’

Earlier today, we received two calls regarding a "Mrs Simms" - the first call was a gent and the second a lady. Initially, we thought it was just a mix-up with the number. However, during the second call, we asked them to clarify the number associated with Mrs Simms, and to our surprise, it turned out to be ours. We politely but firmly informed them that there's no Mrs Simms linked to this number. The caller mentioned they would "make a note of it," but after checking 1471 and stumbling upon this site, we’re not planning to be as tolerant next time they decide to ring! So, to anyone else considering calling from 0191 224 1300, heed this warning: if you persist, you'll find yourself regretting it!

Received a call from this number earlier today. A couple of individuals claimed to be affiliated with the National Audit Office, conducting research on the internet habits of small enterprises. I let them know that we were far too busy and requested they refrain from calling again.

I've been inundated with calls from this number, and it feels as though the callers try to give the impression they're affiliated with some government body. In reality, they are just a market research company. I usually let them know I'm not keen on participating, and most of the time they accept that without fuss. However, there are instances where one or two can be rather pushy, and that's when I simply hang up. If you happen to see this number pop up on your screen, I advise either ignoring the call or, if you don’t have caller ID, just firmly tell them to jog on before disconnecting.

This afternoon, we received a call from these folks which we unfortunately couldn't take. When we tried returning the call, we were met with a recorded message saying, 'If you’re returning a missed call, it’s from FDS International, a market research company, and you might receive another call from them in the future.'

It turns out that this was just a marketing firm, not the National Audit Office as claimed. When we contacted the National Audit Office directly, they assured us that they never make unsolicited calls. So, do take care!

Blimey, who on earth is this? These callers are incessantly ringing at all hours, both day and night, and it’s completely driving us up the wall! They disturbed our daughter last night, and honestly, it feels like they’re having a laugh at our expense!

How on earth do these individuals even get hold of your number? I mean, mine’s tied to the NHS, and it’s not like just anyone can get their hands on it!

This number keeps ringing me four or five times each day. I’m in the middle of a workshop and can’t answer, but whenever I dial 1471, it turns out to be the same number every time.
