I received a call purportedly from Legal and General, stating they needed to go over my policy. However, when I reached out to them directly, they confirmed that they hadn’t attempted to get in touch with me for any such revisions. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

When they inquired about my maiden name, it became crystal clear they weren’t affiliated with the NHS! Total scammers, if you ask me! And as for whether I’ve received my booster, well, surely if you were genuinely from the NHS, you’d already have that information! Instant BLOCK!

Rumour has it that the authorities are probing into matters concerning the coronavirus and outstanding debts.

I just had a call from this number, but they hung up as soon as I picked up. Quite odd, really!

Received a dodgy call purportedly about NHS Covid matters. Definitely a scam!

I received a call from this number inquiring about an individual. When I informed them it was a ‘wrong number’, they proceeded to ask for my name. I firmly declined, stating that I wasn't the person they were after. They seemed quite insistent, even trying to persuade me to share my name. I decided to cut the conversation short and eventually blocked the number.

I had an encounter with a woman who claimed to be conducting Covid track and trace. She then requested information about my life insurance provider, insisting she was merely updating their records. I decided to provide no information at all and promptly blocked her number.

Purporting to conduct a survey on Covid jabs, this outfit turned out to be peddling life insurance instead. It’s downright misleading and really ought to be stopped immediately!

My grandmother received a call from someone claiming to be from the NHS regarding her COVID vaccinations. They inquired whether she's had her jabs and if she had received her information card. The conversation then took an odd turn as they began probing about potential side effects before segueing into questions about life insurance. We decided to end the call, but he tried again, only to hang up once more. Clearly, he understood our intention.

What a dreadful bunch! They’re out here exploiting unsuspecting folks, just to fatten their own wallets. It’s evident they’re thriving in their underhanded ways, given how expensive it must be to either hire a call centre or establish one from scratch. And don’t get me started on their so-called employees—if you can even refer to them as that! It’s clear they lack any sense of decency. I truly wish some karma would come their way, like stepping on a shard of glass!

It’s a right laugh, isn’t it? Who in their right mind thinks Citizens Advice would ring you up? This woman knew my name but was completely clueless about anything else, all while being abroad! When she started firing off questions, I just had to ask why she didn’t already know the answers if she was the one making the call. She clearly didn’t appreciate the cheekiness and cut the line. Classic!

Received a call from an international call centre purporting to be a support service for Covid-19.

It seems they’re requesting that I handle the postage for my cheque. I suggested they consult their mother about it. Total scam, if you ask me.

They seemed to know my name and said they were calling from the NHS’s Public Health Care division. I informed them that department doesn’t exist, and just like that, they ended the call. Quite suspicious if you ask me!

I received a call from someone purporting to be from Public Health England. They proceeded to inquire about my Covid history, including any symptoms I might have experienced and the vaccinations I’ve received. Then, rather abruptly, they shifted the topic to my life insurance, which was definitely a red flag for me, so I decided to terminate the call.

I received a call claiming that I had an outstanding debt with a collections agency, and they were probing for my personal information.

I received a rather odd call from someone inquiring about my vaccination status followed by questions on whether I had life insurance. He claimed to be affiliated with the NHS but had a foreign accent. I found the whole thing quite suspicious and ended up hanging up on him.

I unfortunately missed the call as I didn't manage to answer before they disconnected. Just curious to find out who it might have been!

I've received several missed calls from this number. It seems likely that it’s just some automated telemarketer checking if my line is active.

I've taken the step to block this particular number.

Gave them a ring but they didn’t bother leaving a message, which says to me it mustn’t have been anything crucial. The number is unfamiliar to me, so I can only surmise it was either a pesky telemarketer or yet another run-of-the-mill scam attempt. I’ve now gone ahead and blocked the number.
