I had four calls come through on the 27th and 28th of February 2019. It's high time the Telephone Preference Service took action to put a stop to such nuisance calls!

I've had the misfortune of receiving four calls from yet another dodgy scammer.

Had an odd call from a foreign voice attempting to verify my bank details under the guise of nuisance call protection. Quite a few unsolicited calls have come through, mostly quiet until now.

They claimed to be a service that blocks unwanted calls. They had information regarding my debit card, including the start date and expiry. When they requested me to verify these details, I felt something was off. I ended the call, suspecting it might be a scam.

Well, here we go again – the same old story! I pick up the phone, and before I can even get a word in, they cut the line. It’s infuriating, to say the least. I rarely have a moment to block these pesky numbers. This nonsense has been dragging on for days, and yesterday alone, I had over ten calls. Honestly, it’s driving me to distraction!

Received calls from this number about eight times today. I let my voicemail pick them up, but not a soul spoke a word before they disconnected. It’s frustrating because I can’t block them like this. The same scenario unfolded just yesterday as well.

Received three calls today from this strange number and I opted not to pick up. It seemed rather unusual. Over the past few months, I've been bombarded with scam calls and, as noted by someone else, I'm not listed on the open electoral register, so I'm puzzled as to how they’ve managed to obtain my details.

They alleged they were representing the Telephone Preference Service. When I confronted them about it, they promptly disconnected the call.

Today, we've been plagued by this number ringing us no less than SIX times. Our caller ID initially displays INTERNATIONAL, only to then flash 01909732220 for a split second before reverting back to INTERNATIONAL again. It's quite maddening, as there's never a soul on the line; they simply disengage without uttering a single word! Being a business, I find these interruptions utterly ridiculous—they're taking up my precious time and hindering my productivity. I'm thoroughly fed up with this nonsense. For goodness' sake, can it please come to an end?

I've been bombarded with nuisance calls, I swear I've received three from that number just today! It's absolutely infuriating. In the end, I just slammed the receiver down in frustration. What a bloomin' nuisance!

I've received three calls from them today—each time, silence on the other end. Honestly, I refuse to engage when I see an unfamiliar number pop up, especially with how rampant these irritating calls have become.

I've just added the number 01909732220 to my blocked list since it persistently called me and then hung up. Quite annoying, to say the least!

Received a couple of calls, and there was a notable pause before they picked up. The caller, who had a bit of a foreign twang, greeted me by name and inquired whether I was still plagued by annoying calls on this number. It’s baffling they didn’t already have that information. I ended the conversation abruptly and promptly blocked the number.

Every time it reaches the voicemail, there's nothing but dead air. Come on, have the decency to respond, you numpty!

A rather peculiar situation unfolded. I allowed my phone to go to voicemail when a call came in, but it seemed the caller hung up before I could pick up. The only means by which I can identify the number is through 1471. Over the last few days, I’ve found myself bombarded with incessant rings, almost on an hourly basis. Quite tiresome, to say the least.

Received a call purporting to be from the Telephone Preference Service. The person on the other end wanted to check if I was settling my phone bill via direct debit and casually asked whether my card had expired back in 2018. That immediately set off alarm bells for me! I firmly told them they had no right to pry into my personal details and promptly ended the conversation. They’ve been incessantly trying to reach me since then, but I just let the calls go to voicemail.

The phone started ringing, and I answered it silently. There was absolute silence on the line, and before I knew it, they’d cut off almost straight away. So, I called 1471 to find out who had rung me, but I hadn't reached out to that number at all. I’ve switched my phone back to voicemail mode now to filter out these pesky calls! It’s a real bother, especially since I’m waiting on a crucial call.

I've received countless calls from this number, and every single time, they simply disconnect as soon as I pick up. It’s peculiar that they haven’t bothered to leave any voicemails thus far, but I reckon it’ll be amusing when they finally do. I've already registered with both TPS and FPS, and there's absolutely no way I'm shelling out any cash for these.

Received a call last night around 7 PM, and my caller ID simply indicated "international" with this number. I answered, but they didn't utter a word; just a couple of seconds in, they hung up. I suspect it's a scam. This isn't my first encounter with this number—the same thing happens each time. I've since blocked it.

I received a call from someone who claimed to be representing the TPS, and they were Indian. They insisted on discussing how to block unwanted calls, but only after I provided them with some financial information. I made it quite clear that they could well and truly take a hike—though I wasn’t exactly diplomatic about it! 01909 732220

I've received a few calls from this number, and it sounds like it's from someone in India. I didn’t give them the opportunity to pitch whatever they were selling or share any information. I simply informed them that it was a bank holiday and that they were being rather bothersome. Quite abruptly, they hung up!

01909732220 – claimed to be representing the TPS service. They attempted to coax me into confirming my personal information for a so-called upgrade. I firmly declined time and again, and they abruptly ended the call. If they were a genuine organisation, they wouldn't have cut the conversation short and would have provided a way for me to authenticate their identity.

Received a call earlier claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service, stating they needed to upgrade my account. They insisted that I verify my bank account information, including sort code and expiration date. Clearly, this is a scam! Authorities need to step in and put an end to this nonsense.

This particular number has rung through to our house on seven occasions. Each time we’ve answered, there’s been no one on the other end. However, when we rang it back, we ended up conversing with a rather elderly gentleman who claimed he hadn’t made any calls, but mentioned that we were actually the third person to reach out to him about this. Is it a faulty line, or has someone managed to hijack his number for their own purposes? It's getting rather annoying now – could we please just have it stop?
