Got several calls from this number yesterday, missed them all and now I’ve just blocked it.

So I finally picked up this number, figuring I’d give them a piece of my mind. It was some Indian call centre bloke claiming to be from The Telephone Preference Service, asking if I was getting annoying calls. I told him yeah, especially from them! He just kept going on and on, repeating the same stuff. When I told him he’d called me ten times already today, he just abruptly ended the call.

Got a call twice from this number today. The guy said his name was Steve, sounded Asian, and claimed to be from some Telephone Preference Management Call Blocking team. Wanted me to pay a one-time fee of £21.99. Creepy thing was, he had my full name and address. I just kept him chatting for ages, then told him I’d be sending a bill for the time I spent on the phone with him. He just hung up after that!
