A bloke rang me claiming to be from Prestige Telecom regarding my O2 account. I politely declined and hung up.

Unrecognised caller. Just some indistinct noise in the background.

They rang me up, but when I asked them what the purpose of their call was, they were rather evasive and wouldn’t give me any details. Quite perplexing, really!

As soon as I picked up the phone, I was met with a pre-recorded message.

I received a call from an unrecognized number the other day. Thankfully, the mobile network was out of action, so the call went straight to my voicemail. They didn’t bother leaving a message, though; rang twice in total.

I received a call from 01908073094, stating they were reaching out on behalf of ‘we’. They asked me to confirm my identity, but I wasn’t at ease with sharing my first name. I requested that they clarify who they believed I was instead. Upon hearing my response, they abruptly said the conversation was pointless and terminated the call.

They claimed to be calling from EE and insisted that I qualified for a business upgrade on my mobile. I kept telling them I wasn't keen at all, and eventually, they just ended the call!
