I answered the call with a cheerful ‘hello,’ only to be met by a recorded woman’s voice wishing me a quick ‘goodbye’! I did a little digging and it turns out it’s the same dodgy number that rang me last month, just as others have mentioned in their comments.

I received a rather dubious call regarding loft insulation. The caller seemed to be trying to instil a bit of panic, asking if we had that outdated white or yellow fibreglass stuff in our loft. He claimed it could lead to mould and condensation – quite the scare tactic if you ask me! Generally, I tend to ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise.

I got a call at 08:10 this morning, and it seems I've had a string of similar calls from a handful of other numbers as well – 01902904878, 01904205007, 01904438420, and 01906227534. Quite the coincidence, isn't it?

I had a call from this number around 9:45 this morning. When I picked up, there was a recorded message that introduced itself as 'Luke, your local energy advisor'. I found it rather off-putting and hung up straight away. I've since decided to block the number.

As I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, I shouldn’t be getting these kinds of unsolicited calls—especially not at 8 am on a public holiday here in Scotland. Quite frustrating!
