I didn’t pick up when they called, but it seemed like it might have been a recruitment firm. I’ve been job hunting lately and sharing my CV around, so maybe they got my number that way.

Got a call from someone saying they worked for a recruitment firm. When I asked them how they got my contact info, they got all defensive and just muttered something about "the internet." Definitely felt dodgy, so I blocked the number - seemed like a typical scam to me.
