Got a call on my landline around 5pm from a number I didn’t know. Didn’t answer it and when the voicemail kicked in, they just hung up. Pretty sure it’s a scam so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.

I had the unfortunate experience of crossing paths with a con artist who insisted I had been in a car crash that I didn't cause. This individual tried to get me to complete a survey about this supposed incident so I could claim some sort of compensation for being a 'victim'. It was painfully clear that he was fishing for my banking information, as he persistently asked for it over and over again.

Got a call from 01908 041983, a bloke called Sam claiming to be from a window firm wanting to talk to the homeowner. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam.

Some bloke rang me up calling himself "Sam" from something like "Windows Centre" asking if I owned the place. A few weeks back I had a call from someone else also calling himself "Sam", probably about insulation or something like that. When I asked where he’d found my number (I’m ex-directory so not easy to find) he just dodged the question and then cut off the call. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

I didn't pick up, but it was pretty clear it was a scam. I'm really fed up with these calls - at least a couple every day. Honestly, I wish they’d find something better to do with their time. I've signed up for the TPS and my number’s unlisted, yet somehow, every random bloke in the UK seems to have access to the entire phone book. It’s ridiculous.

So I got a call from 01908041983 and they wanted to talk to the house owner. I told them I was just the cleaner and offered to pass on a message. Then they kept going on about some windows stuff, which made no sense, so I just hung up and blocked the number. Oh, and FYI, I’m definitely not the cleaner!

I’m on the ex-directory list, so I’m quite baffled as to how these dodgy telemarketers got my number for their so-called window repair services. It’s rather concerning they seem to know my windows are over a decade old-who on earth spilled the beans? Is there any way to report this nuisance? And can I seek some form of compensation for being targeted by these unscrupulous individuals? It's quite maddening, really!
