I received a rather articulate chap on the line, introducing himself as being affiliated with Compare the Market, inquiring whether I needed assistance with my application. I've been utilising their services for ages, and this is the first instance of a call like this I've encountered.

I had a bit of a strange encounter with a company that wanted me to fill out a survey about my buying habits. At first, I thought, “Why not? Sounds harmless.” But then things started to get a bit too intrusive when they asked for my age bracket and my home address. That was my cue to say no thanks, so I politely excused myself and hung up.

They are behind a variety of ventures including finvestings.com, monkeyvacation.com—a questionable holiday rental initiative, along with finvesting.net, coin-mining-farm.com, riveraammunition.com, and mindmining.com. Be cautious!

When I mentioned that the person he was looking for wasn’t the right one, it left him a bit flummoxed for a second. Curiosity got the better of me, so I inquired about his identity, to which he retorted that it was of no consequence. Definitely a scam, folks—stay vigilant!

I mistakenly submitted my phone number on a dubious trading website, and lo and behold, they rang me at a rather late hour of 22:45. When I didn’t pick up, they incessantly called back five or six times. Eventually, when I did respond, they were keen on obtaining my card details under the pretext that my account wasn’t activated yet. What a right bother!

What an odd experience! I had a rather charming conversation with a very courteous chap. He inquired whether I had some cash to put into investments and if I had an open mindset. I found myself rather curious about where this was going. Then he proceeded to propose shares in some sort of online adult entertainment venture. I must say, a definitive pass from me!
