People need to step up and report every one of these scams. Info below. Those who aren’t aware get scammed, and the rest of us just get frustrated. The only way to put a stop to this is by reporting. Blocking doesn’t help, and sending details to '7726' just feels like the government passing the buck while our country suffers. Most of these scammers are overseas and keep doing it because hardly anyone reports them. It might be a pain to report at first, but if you save the numbers in your contacts, it becomes way quicker after that.

I have a strong hunch that this number relates to some sort of communal expenses! The individuals behind the call were pretending to handle PPI claims. Stay vigilant!

Seems like one of those shared cost lines, loads of similar numbers getting reported, mainly for bogus PPI claims (just the last couple of digits different).
