Got a ring from "Trusted Property Research" the other day. Picked up and the bloke asked if I was "the wanker Mr." I had to ask him to say that again cause I thought I misheard. He just kinda mumbled, no sorry or anything. Then he had the cheek to ask me "what did I say?" really defensive. Honestly, not the best way to do research. Sounds like he needs some more training or maybe find a job where he’s not dealing with people directly.

I told them I’m registered with the TPS, but they insisted their system checks it once every 28 days and promised to take me off their calling list. I tried to speak to a manager to clarify things because it sounded like either they were fibbing or their system isn't working properly. The person refused, saying their only job was to remove my number. They then suggested I might have accidentally opted into some marketing preferences at some point.

I got a call just after 6 in the evening from someone saying they could help with government grants for fixing up your house. When I told her I’m registered with the TPS and shouldn’t be getting these calls, she just brushed it off, saying they always verify that first, so it must be a mistake. I looked into it myself afterwards and found out she was totally fibbing. Go figure!
