Today, I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from BT, inquiring about my internet connection speed. He mentioned that they had noticed some unusual behaviour on my broadband and insisted that I needed to grant their technical team complete access to my computer. I’m convinced they’re not affiliated with BT at all; it seems more like a scam orchestrated by hackers.

Received a call from someone named Jason, who said he was from BT tech support, telling me my router was causing network issues. The number showing up on the caller ID seemed fake to me.
