Got a call for the third time now from a lady claiming to be from TalkTalk. I messed about with them the last two times but I’ve had it now, it’s just pointless and a complete bother. Honestly wish there was some way to hack back and give them a taste of their own medicine, these lot just want to take over your computer or something. Proper scam if you ask me.

I picked up the call but couldn't make heads or tails of the language being spoken. After about twenty seconds of confusion, I decided to just block the number.

Got two calls from some bloke with a dodgy accent saying he was from Talk Talk. He kept pushing me to get online so he could "fix" some issue, even after I said my router was working fine. Told him flat out it was a scam and hung up. Number’s blocked now.

Received a rather odd call today. The chap on the line insisted there was an issue, claiming my router was on the blink and urged me to hop on my computer. I firmly maintained that everything was fine and questioned how he could possibly know about my router troubles. He claimed it was his duty to fix any faults he could detect from Talktalk's end. I reiterated that I had no problems and wasn’t inclined to divulge any personal information. In the end, I told him goodbye, and just as I was hanging up, he cheekily said, “Right, jog on!”

I received yet another dodgy call claiming to be from Talktalk, insisting there was a problem with my line and urging me to log onto my computer. It's absolutely baffling that this number is still operational. Why on earth aren’t the telecom companies taking action to block such obvious scams? It’s downright outrageous that these fraudulent calls continue to plague unsuspecting individuals!

Got a ring from this number a moment ago. The guy on the line spoke with an accent that wasn’t local and started with, "Hello, this is TalkTalk, hope you're well today." I quickly informed him that I’ve already set my preferences to block calls from TalkTalk, and he just disconnected straight away!

14:20, Monday the 15th of May, 2017. Claimed to be from TalkTalk, however, upon reaching out to TalkTalk directly, it became crystal clear that this was not the case at all!

I've had three calls this week already. I contacted the actual Talk Talk team, but they told me there wasn’t anything they could do to help.

Received two calls from these scammers within an hour. By the time the second one rang, I figured I’d have a bit of fun with them. They just couldn’t get their heads around the fact that the Microsoft key doesn’t work on my Ubuntu/Lynx system. They got really annoyed and started arguing. Then they put me through to their “supervisor”, who was no smarter than the first caller. Honestly, they must believe everyone’s a mug. I hung up before they could try to take over my computer.

This morning at precisely 10:59, I had an unexpected call. The individual on the other end claimed to be representing TalkTalk, discussing issues with my router. I informed him that I had parted ways with TalkTalk a couple of years back. His response, rather crude, was to tell me to get off his phone. I firmly told him not to ring this number again.

Had a few trouble with me TalkTalk router lately, kept dropping out all the time. Rang up their support but didn’t get much help, just kept saying there was a fault in the area. Really frustrating when you’re trying to get online and it keeps cutting off so often. Hopefully sorts itself out soon, but not impressed so far.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Talk Talk, but this time it was a lady on the other end. She asked if she could access my computer, so I just pretended to go along with it. Eventually, I told her she ought to be embarrassed for trying to scam decent folks and suggested she try pulling the same stunt on her own family instead. Not surprisingly, she just ended the call. I’m getting at least a couple of these every day now!

Same as loads of others, these people keep saying they're from TalkTalk. I actually spoke to the genuine TalkTalk team and they told me it’s not their number. Had about 10 calls over 3 days now, and they’re starting to get a bit rude. I’ve even put a whistle next to the phone for the next time they ring, warned my kid just in case! If you’re with TalkTalk, make sure you report the number, it only takes a moment.

Got another one pretending to be from TalkTalk, they’re ringing me like two or three times daily now. I just said, “you're the third person calling in two days saying you’re from TalkTalk,” and he just hung up on me! :) I reckon these scammers must be scraping the barrel with stolen TalkTalk info by now - really don’t see why they bother anymore.
