Someone rang up saying they were from bank security, asking me to confirm a £699 transfer on a credit card which supposedly was over the limit. Thing is, our credit cards have much higher limits than that. Plus, if there's ever a payment to a new supplier, we always tell the bank beforehand. Also, the bank normally sends a unique security code to approve stuff like this, but they didn’t ask for any code at all. So yeah, definitely not from our bank.
