The lady from the PPI call sounded really nice, but she asked if I had a credit card before 2009 and if I could claim money back. I’ve never had a credit card so I knew it was a load of rubbish. She did say she’d remove my number from their list though, so fingers crossed they don’t call again.

Im feeling a bit worried tbh. I was fine with them looking into my ppi cause they sounded trustworthy. I gave them my info, no problem. They told me they’d post me some forms to sign and said they were proper pros and all. I’ll update if the ppi pack ever turns up. I guess I’m just too trusting sometimes??

This number rang my mobile, so I tried calling back from my home phone. After a bit, I got a message saying "please wait while we connect you to the next agent". When someone finally picked up, they just said "yo". Asked where they were calling from, and the reply was Manchester, but when I asked which company, all they said was Manchester again. Seems like total time wasters if you ask me!

redstar finance management called me, had my full address and postcode, and were asking loads of questions about my finances. then they started naming big banks like hsbc, barclays, capital one, all the usual ones. i told them i haven’t used credit before so ppi claims weren't relevant, and they just ended the call. ive blocked their number since. looks like red star finance management is using this as their latest tactic.
