Got a pre-recorded call claiming TalkTalk’s about to cut off my internet and broadband. It said to press 1 for the tech support or 2 to start the cancellation. Felt dodgy straight away.

I got a voicemail from some automated system saying my phone line would be cut off within 24 hours. They mentioned finding suspicious hacking attempts or something and told me to contact BT right away. Bit worrying, not sure if it’s legit or just a scam.
