I picked up the phone and it was someone talking about a supposed PPI claim. When I told them I’d never made any claim, they kinda just stuttered and didn’t really know how to respond.

Had this happen loads. Phone rings, I pick up and as soon as I do, the caller just cuts off. No idea who or why!

Totally a scam, they just drop the line as soon as you pick up, clearly hoping you’ll ring them back and get charged loads. Best thing is to block the number straight away.
