I picked up the phone and the caller was on the other end regarding a PPI claim I supposedly made. They seemed rather taken aback when I mentioned that I hadn’t actually filed any claim at all. Quite the awkward moment, really!

This number is definitely a scam! They disconnect as soon as you pick up, clearly hoping you'll ring them back, perhaps to hit you with some costly charges. Best to block it right away!
