Got a call from someone claiming they were with Vodafone, saying an upgrade was available. When I asked which phone number they were on (got two Vodafone numbers), they said it was the one they were ringing. That's not true though, since it's the other number that actually should be getting an upgrade. Told them I wasn’t interested and they just cut me off straight away.

They claimed to be calling on behalf of Vodafone, but when I asked where they were actually calling from, they said Hull. Then I wondered, if they're truly in Hull, why’s the area code showing York’s number? Shouldn't it start with 01482 then? Seems like someone's trying to pull a fast one here, if you ask me.
