Got a call about renewing kitchen appliance cover, but I never actually signed up for that. Bit weird!

I got a call from a young woman who came across as really sincere, telling me our water pipe insurance needed renewing. Thing is, we’ve never had any such insurance here. When I asked her about it, she claimed she was working for our actual insurance company. It all felt dodgy, just a way to get my bank information - definitely a scam.

Got a call from a woman asking about the warranty for my washing machine, which was a bit unsettling because she already had my name and address. I was under the impression these kinds of calls aren't allowed anymore. Really curious about who’s still dealing out personal info like that - they must be breaking GDPR rules big time.

Some bloke called up sayin my TV insurance wasn't legit. Total rubbish, that's not right at all.

Got a phone call from this number, some bloke telling me my TV insurance had run out. Absolute nonsense since I’ve got my TV covered through a nearby broker and always get a renewal reminder once a year. The guy sounded like he was trying to be English but clearly wasn’t confident, probably reading off a script and struggling with the language. Told him I’m on the TPS and that I’d report the call. Ended the call and blocked the number straight away.
