Somebody pretending to be from Virgin Media rang my work line, claiming my internet was about to be disconnected. They said I had to download an app on my phone to link up with their “security” department. When the caller asked what kind of phone I had, I jokingly said it just makes ringing and beeping noises. She didn’t take it well and got really nasty with me. I simply handed the phone back to a colleague and it actually ended up being the funniest ten minutes of lockdown!
