this guy called asking for either me or my missus. I asked who it was and he said he wanted to know if we had a funeral plan sorted. then I asked how he got hold of my number since it’s ex-directory. he said it was from some ‘database’, so I told him to take me off that list and just ended the call. proper cheeky!

Got a call from some firm named Future Planning based in Worthing, and before I knew it, this quick-talking young woman was pushing funeral plans on me. Even after I told her clearly I wasn’t interested, she just brushed it off and said she’d ring back later. I guess she’s hoping I'll magically change my mind and agree to something about my own funeral. Honestly, these lot might just be the worst at cold-calling I’ve ever dealt with!
