The woman on the line had a really dodgy English accent. She said she wanted to post a 5G SIM to my husband, claiming it was for his Sky account. Thing is, I’m the one who owns the account and his phone line is under my name, not his. That immediately made me suspicious. I told her straight away she was a scam and then blocked the number.

Got a call from a woman who sounded foreign, claiming to be from O2. She said I had to upgrade to a 5G SIM and they would send me a new card. I told her to go ahead and send it. Then she wanted to put me through to her manager, but I said I couldn’t hang around. She said if I didn't get it through them, I’d have to buy one in-store and it’d be more expensive. I agreed, and then the call ended abruptly. Looks really dodgy to me - they’re just waiting to trick someone unsuspecting.

Got a call claiming to be from Sky offering a free upgrade to 5G. The person on the phone asked if I'd be home between 9am and 3pm so they could drop off a SIM card. I told them just to leave it through my letterbox. Then they said they’d transfer me to their manager to collect my info. Since then, I’ve had three more calls from them.
