Got a call saying it was Amazon, telling me they’d just taken £39 from my bank for a Prime subscription I don’t even have, and to press 1 if I want to sort it out. I wasn’t fooled for a second and ended the call straight away, though I was tempted to press 1 and give them a piece of my mind. I’ll be reporting that number to Ofcom now.

Even tho im not with bt, ive got their protect thing on my mobile and this call went straight thru to voicemail but nothing was said. Feels like ive landed on some dialling list recently, cos today ive had loads of calls from unfamiliar numbers, none the same.

Called back pretty quickly, like 2 minutes after, but no one picked up. Could be one of those scams, I reckon.

this isn’t a UK number, looks like it’s from India maybe.

Be careful! I got a recorded call with a woman speaking in an American accent, claiming to be from Amazon Prime. She told me to press 1 to cancel my subscription, but we don’t even have Prime! Just heard this scam has been popping up here recently. If you do have Prime and want to cancel, do it online instead. Also, the phone number they used was way too short to be a proper UK landline. Stay safe!
