I just got a call from someone saying they're with the tech support team and that there was a problem with my computer. I was like, thanks for letting me know, I'll have a look at it. Then I said goodbye. Pretty sure it was a scam! The number showed up as thetechhelpline[###]. Trust me, don't fall for it!

Got a call that felt like some sort of hacking scam or maybe a blackmail trick. Really freaked me out for a bit.

I didnt even let the person talking get a word in, just switched the phone to speaker and walked off. Left it on for like 30 mins while I rambled about bargain hunt and my dogs and how I look after them. Hopefully keeping them on the line for that long cost the caller some cash!

I didn’t even let the person get a word in. I just popped the call on speaker and left it going for about 30 minutes, chatting about bargain hunt and rambling on about my dogs and how I keep them all groomed. Fingers crossed that half hour ended up costing them a pretty penny!

I tend to just ignore calls that come up as 'withheld' or 'unavailable'. But today, this number '01902885540' showed up. I picked up and said hello, but after a couple of seconds of silence, the caller hung up. Not sure if it’s because my voice is pretty deep and masculine or what?

I rang the dec helpline after getting the call, but as soon as I picked up and noticed the delay before someone spoke, I could tell it was dodgy. Then a woman with an Indian accent began talking, so I just told them it was a scam and hung up straight away. These sorts of calls often have that weird lag before they start chatting.

Had a call from someone pretending to be from Windows, total scam and fraud if you ask me. The number they called from looked like 01902 885540 on my caller ID, but when I tried ringing it back, it said "number not recognised". The bloke on the phone said his name was Glen Wilson, which I reckon is a fake name used by a pretty dodgy scammer. Stay alert, everyone!

I'm getting really fed up with this caller. Normally, when I try to check the number using 1471, it comes up as withheld. I've already got someone who takes care of my computer, so I know for certain nothing's wrong with it.
