I looked this number up and found out it’s linked to Secure Home Systems (you can check Google for yourself). They seem a bit dodgy since they admit to cold calling and then when you try calling back, it’s like no one’s there. A mate of mine had them ring out of the blue, they set up a meeting and even gave a name of the caller. Then when my mate wanted to cancel, they couldn’t get through to the original number. However, the number 01902 287657 did pick up eventually.

So this bloke claimed to be from some home security company, right? I was about to let him offer a free home inspection, but I told him to first have a look at the TPS list - which, these days, is barely any use anyway. Then I just ended the call and blocked his number straight away!

This number rang my wife and the lady said she was ringing from a home security company. She mentioned they were nearby and asked if we wanted someone to come round and check our house. We said no thanks to that offer.

This number belongs to some company with a woman in a call centre. I answered once but stayed quiet while she kept chatting. She ended up ringing me back three more times, so annoying!
