Got a call from a guy that sounded Asian but had a very English name, telling me I'd been charged £700 on my Amazon account. This was the second time in a few days and the number looked local to me, which got me thinking if this is some kinda new scam or just pure chance? If you use caller ID, it's tempting to pick up when the number looks familiar. I wasn't having any of it though - replied with some colourful language straight from my Tourettes handbook. Don’t let these lowlifes pull the wool over your eyes with their dodgy scams!
