I answered the call but there was no one on the other end who spoke.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft tech support. They told me my computer was at risk of being hacked and said they could fix it. Then they asked if they could take control of my PC and wanted my bank information. It seemed obvious to me that it was a scam because my computer was working fine as it was.
