I'm pretty sure the number 01987640277 is linked to some kind of scam.

Had a call early this morning from someone saying they were with Lloyds Bank. They asked if I was a customer, and I said "yes," even though I’m not. Then they gave my real address and said a team member would call back later to put £200 into my account. I just thanked them and waited. Later, got another call from a different 019 number. I told them “no thanks” and that I was ending the call, then the bloke got really rude. I hung up straight away.

Got a voicemail just after midnight, couldn't really catch much apart from them asking me to unblock their number, which I never even blocked! I called back the following day and the bloke sounded just as puzzled as I was, plus he was calling from a city miles away from me. Seems like some kinda scam, but who even tries ringing folk for scams so late at night? Proper weird.

I usually don’t pick up if I don’t know the number, so I’m not sure if this was some sort of scam, a pestering call, or just a random one. All I wanna know is where the call was from, like which city or even just which county. How can I find that out?

Got a call from an 019 number, it was an automated message telling me my internet would be cut off within 24 hours because of some illegal stuff happening on my connection. They said to press 4 to talk to the provider about it. They rang again today with the exact same message.

Got a call from 001419750793145 with an American accent, saying they were about to disconnect my BT line. Thing is, BT isn’t even in the US. Definitely gonna block this number.

019 numbers are completely bogus. Most of the time, someone claims to be calling from BT and threatens to cut off your broadband. It’s really stressful and annoying.
