Somebody called me saying they were from something like 'Siskey' - I wasn’t sure, so I asked them to say the name again a few times. Then, out of nowhere, they claimed to be from the Windows Tech Support team. They told me that for the last two days, every time I went online, a different IP address had been connecting. When I responded with a sarcastic "Oh really?", they just cut the call.

Got a missed call at 10:58 this morning, and after seeing all these comments, I'm pretty sure it was some sort of scam. Blocked the number right away, haha!

I keep getting calls like this and it’s just ridiculous. They always say something like “Your internet is going to be cut off today.” I just ended the call straight away. What a load of nonsense.

The call seemed to be from an automatic dialler since there was no answer right away, so I ended the call.

I answered, but there was nobody speaking on the other side... sounds like it might have been some sort of automated call.

Ha, I got a text supposedly from TalkTalk saying my service was about to be cut off, and to hit 1 to speak to someone or 2 to disconnect. I went with 2 just for laughs. But seriously, it's about time the cops stopped faffing about and actually turned up at that address in Uxbridge to make some arrests. What exactly are our MPs doing while all this goes on?

Over the past few days, I've been getting loads of calls that show up as international on Call Protect, but when I check on the website, there's an actual number listed. Seems like the numbers from that old TalkTalk leak might be making the rounds again. Luckily, with Call Protect, I can see who's ringing. Otherwise, since I have mates and family in various countries, I'd have no choice but to block all overseas calls.

Got another call today, different number but same as the one on Wednesday. They claimed they were from TalkTalk's tech support. I just ended the call straight away since it was clear it was a scam.
