Now, I’m not trying to be racist or anything, but it seems like most of these scam calls come from Indian numbers, which makes me a bit wary straight away.

Someone rang me up asking if I’d been in a car crash lately. They said their company was something like Signia or Insignia, but when I tried calling them back, the number didn’t even exist! Bit fishy if you ask me.
