What really freaked me out was that they called me by my name! Like others said, there was a weird silence before anyone said anything, and the voices had Indian accents. They asked if some problem with my house had been fixed. Even after I told them to stop ringing me, they called back again. I reckon I’m going to avoid giving out my details online from now on!

Just got a call from a bloke named Martin, said he was calling from 01892 710634. He started with "Hello, this is Martin from Housing Disrepair. Do you have any problems with your home?" I asked, "Why does that concern you?" He replied, "Because it's what I do." I told him, "You should focus on your own matters." Then he went on with "Bugger off, bugger off." I can only guess how professional this company is if that’s how they talk to people.
