Definitely a con! They claimed to be from BT, insisting they were looking into some suspicious activity. They pressured my mum to access her computer while they were on the line, saying they needed to verify certain details with her. They asked invasive questions about her online habits, including if she does any online banking. They even implied they had to shut off her internet to carry out their 'investigations'. The kicker? My mum doesn't even have a BT account!
