Loads of calls supposedly coming from UK numbers but they’re actually from India. Totally dodgy!!!

They ring up and then leave the line open, you can either hear silence or a busy call centre in the background. I’ve stopped even saying hello, it feels like some sort of phishing scam trying to get personal info. I used to answer but quickly got fed up with them asking things like "Which broadband provider are you using?" or "What energy supplier do you have?" So now I just hang up straight away and block the number. When there’s no one talking on the other end, I reckon they are checking if the number is active or matches a voice from a previous call - honestly, it’s super sketchy!

About half an hour ago, I got a call sayin’ it wasn’t a survey but they wanted to ask me a few things. Yeah, right! I just ended up blocking the number.
