Someone rang me pretending to be from a Legal Claims team, asking if I’d been in an accident - which I definitely haven’t.

I got a call from some sort of robot voice, sounded like a woman speaking with a very thick American accent.

Today, I received a rather suspicious automated call from a woman with a distinctly American twang. She informed me that my Amazon Prime membership was due for renewal and that I could either renew it for £79 by pressing 1 or cancel it by pressing 2. I didn’t hesitate to hang up straight away! If you happen to receive a call like this, I’d strongly advise you to do the same. Amazon typically doesn't operate this way and it’s quite uncommon for them to reach out directly to customers, particularly concerning Prime subscriptions.

I got a call about Amazon telling me I’d be charged £79 for Prime if I didn’t cancel soon. Seemed like a total scam to me! Thankfully, I ended up hanging up and not falling for it.

got a call on my phone this morning from one of these annoying spammers, honestly they should just stop already. I've got a poorly parent at home and it’s so frustrating having to deal with these idiots ringing me up.

I picked up but there was no one there, just silence, then the call suddenly ended. Seems like one of those automated calls to me.

I didn’t know the number and they didn’t leave any voicemail - which is a bit suspicious. Had a search on this site and seems like it’s a scammer probably after some cash. So, I flagged it as risky.

The number was unfamiliar so I just ignored it and didn't bother to call back since there was no voicemail left.

I had a rather dubious phone call this morning from the number 18837 18314. The caller claimed to be from Amazon Prime and insisted that I don’t have an Amazon Prime account. Quite frankly, I was baffled, as I’ve not the foggiest idea what they're on about. They mentioned something about others attempting to access my account, which sounded rather fishy!
