This person claimed I was illegally using my internet phone connection, saying it was against the law.

Today, 02/04/24, I got a call from this number with a pre-recorded message saying there had been two transactions on my bank card and to press '1' for details. I’ve blocked the number on my BT call blocker now. It’s got to be a scam or some sort of spoofing trick making it look like a genuine BT number, as BT wouldn’t call me about card activity like that. Definitely marked it as suspicious.

I got a recorded call from this number earlier today, on the 2nd of April, 2024, at 9:07 in the morning, claiming that my bank card had been charged for two online purchases. After doing a bit of digging on another site, it turns out the number is linked to BT and the caller was supposedly based in Caterham. I've taken the precaution of adding it to my block list, since I should definitely be hearing from my bank directly regarding any issues with my card, not a telecom company.
