Totally a scam, no doubt. I’m familiar with Kinloch Rannoch - it’s a tiny spot up in the Scottish Highlands, and I’ve been a few times myself. There’s no big NHS thing there, just a little doctor’s surgery, so this call made no sense. The bloke on the phone sounded foreign and knew my first name but butchered my surname awful. He started talking about covid out of nowhere and I just slammed the phone down. Best thing is to just ignore and block the number.

Got a call earlier today from someone claiming to be from the NHS covid 19 team. They started asking about my health and the people living with me. Then, suddenly, they switched gears and began questioning me about life and health insurance. When I asked why they wanted that info, they insisted it wasn’t a sales call, but kept pushing insurance questions. The whole thing felt off, and the voice sounded like it was from an Indian call centre. I ended the call pretty quickly after that.
