Totally a scam, no doubt. I’m familiar with Kinloch Rannoch - it’s a tiny spot up in the Scottish Highlands, and I’ve been a few times myself. There’s no big NHS thing there, just a little doctor’s surgery, so this call made no sense. The bloke on the phone sounded foreign and knew my first name but butchered my surname awful. He started talking about covid out of nowhere and I just slammed the phone down. Best thing is to just ignore and block the number.

It turned out to be an Indian call centre, claiming to represent the “National Heath Services” - notice how they didn’t say NHS or “National Health Service.” Every time I probed him with questions, like who he was and how he obtained my information, he just kept repeating that same phrase over and over. Eventually, he mentioned that he was with the “Covid-19 Survey department.” I informed him that the individual they were after had unfortunately passed away. I promptly ended the call and blocked their number.

Received a call purporting to be from the NHS. They inquired if I had received both vaccinations, and upon confirming, they asked if I was content with my GP. When I probed the reason behind such a question, the caller skirted around it, repeatedly insisting they were representing the NHS. Then, out of nowhere, they wanted to know if I had life insurance. I pointed out how odd it was to transition from discussing Covid to insurance in one chat. I firmly requested them to cease contacting me, which seemed to frustrate them; I ended the call anyway. What a bunch of nincompoops!

I received a call earlier today from someone claiming to be with the NHS regarding COVID-19. They started off by inquiring about my health and my family members' health, which seemed reasonable at first. However, they swiftly shifted the conversation to probe about my health and life insurance. When I queried their motives by asking, “What’s with all the questions?” the caller insisted, “This is absolutely not a sales call.” Yet, they persisted in drilling down into insurance-related inquiries. At that point, I decided enough was enough and hung up. The whole affair had the hallmark of an Indian call centre, if I'm honest.
