I’ve gone through their routines time and again, yet the issue remains unresolved. The chap on the other end doesn’t seem to absorb anything I say, and each conversation is eerily identical as if we’ve never conversed previously. He insists he’s representing BT, but one minute I’m told a new router is on its way, and on the next call, the story changes entirely along with the number that’s calling me. Even when I explain that I can’t engage or that my computer isn’t functioning, they plough on with their script, which is becoming increasingly frustrating. While it could potentially be genuine, my caution has heightened as they incessantly ring me.
