Yesterday I got a call from a number almost like this one, 01873 901034. When I picked up, they asked for me by name but their English was terrible, seemed like it was some call centre from India. They wanted just 40 seconds of my time but I just ended the call straight away. Since this number is linked to Abergavenny in Wales, I’m guessing they might be faking the number to make people think it’s local. This time I didn’t even bother picking up.

About five minutes back, I got a call from 08173901037. The person spoke with a strong Indian accent and sounded quite polite, saying they wanted to check my credit score or something like that. I wasn’t expecting any call like this at all. I quickly told them they were scammers and that I’d be reporting them to the cops. Then I ended the call and made sure to block that number right away.

Got a call from some spam lot, first time I picked up and the line just dropped. Next call, I accidentally answered again and they said they were from some company doing feedback surveys or whatever.
